Blind Tasting Wednesdays – have fun with wine!

If you haven’t popped in on a Wednesday evening before, here’s why you should . . . .

We put one bottle in our enomatic machine for blind tasting, completely covered so you’ve got no clues as to what wine it may be.

What’s brilliant about this is that you try a wine without the marketing or previous assumptions affecting your reaction – whether you like it or not is purely to do with how it smells and how it tastes. It’s amazing how many people find they like a grape variety they always thought they hated, or discover a new region that they’ve never tried before.

We also ask a question each week (e.g. guess the grape, guess the country) and if you’re the first person to guess correctly you win a free glass of champagne!
